“Restore to us, o God; let your face shine, that we may be saved.” | Psalm 80: 3 RSV
Can you remember a time when you weren’t anxious about something? The chaos of our lives can overwhelm us and make it difficult to see anything other than confusion and brokenness.
And somewhere along the way, we’ve forgotten who we are – and, more importantly, who God is.
We have a good, loving Father in heaven who created us to share in His glory, to see everything and everyone with His eyes. His greatest desire is to raise us up out of our fear and anxiety, and restore to us the hope and abundant life that only He can give.
This summer, the Diocese of Alexandria will host the 2021 “Restored” Steubenville South Conference, June 26-27 for a limited number of attendees.
Steubenville South is a weekend conference that evangelizes, equips, and empowers students in grades 8 – 12 to become radical joyful disciples! Enjoy keynote speakers, praise and worship, Eucharistic Adoration, the sacrament of Reconciliation, and much more.
Part of a series of 25 Steubenville Youth Conferences across North America that serve 50,000 young people annually, Steubenville South is held at the Randolph Riverfront Center in downtown Alexandria.
At Steubenville South, you’ll:
• Experience the restoring love of Jesus Christ through inspiring talks, praise and worship, and the sacraments;
• Connect with hundreds of other Catholic teens;
• Return home with memories that will last a lifetime.
This year’s conference will look a little different than past conferences. Due to COVID guidelines, the conference will only be open to a limited number of participants. We will update that number as COVID guidelines are updated, and do our best to open the conference weekend to as many people as possible, as safely as possible.
This summer’s conference will span two days, Saturday, June 26 and Sunday, June 27. We will host as many aspects of the conference in-person as we can, but will livestream the main keynote sessions from the Steubenville Main Campus 3 conference taking place the same weekend. More information concerning these details will be available soon.
All rising freshmen in high school through rising freshmen in college are invited to attend this weekend retreat. Email firstname.lastname@example.org, or ask your parish youth minister for more information.
See you soon!
