Join us for this transformational Catholic youth event! We are so excited you’re walking along side us. The Steubenville Youth Conferences, an outreach of Franciscan University of Steubenville, are a series of 25 conferences across North America that help teens encounter the love of Christ every summer. Our mission is to build the Church by evangelizing, equipping, and empowering God’s children to become radical and joyful disciples.

As a Eucharist-centered movement within the Roman Catholic Church, Steubenville South leads teens and their communities into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ, and His Church. With the Blessed Virgin Mary as our intercessor and guide, the Steubenville South Conference seeks to unleash the fullness of the Sacramental power present within the young Church.

ENNIE HICKMAN.
For over 20 years, Ennie Hickman has sought to love people as Jesus commanded within many roles including parish youth minister, international speaker, non-profit president, and now as Development Director for The Saint Constantine School in Houston, TX. In 2019, Ennie and his wife, Cana, founded Del Rey Collective to empower individuals and families to live on mission in their homes and neighborhoods. Whether on their back porch or in packed churches, Ennie and Cana, along with their 8 children, aim to follow Jesus' commands to love God and neighbor.

JOSH BLAKESLEY.
Josh Blakesley has acknowledged a simple calling: to make music that moves people into prayer + action. Josh and his bandmates have dedicated themselves to making music for liturgy in today's era by answering the question, "how do I create a song that will honor traditions, yet speak to people in the modern Church and lead them to worship?" He has led music for 20+ years at various events, churches, festivals, and conferences. In addition to touring, songwriting, and producing, Josh serves as the Music Ministry Coordinator at St. Anthony of Padua in The Woodlands, TX.

FR. JOE FREEDY.
Father Joe Freedy is the youngest of five children. He grew up in Pittsburgh, PA, and attended Bethel Park High School. Earning a scholarship to the University at Buffalo to play football, Fr. Freedy started as quarterback for 3 years. After college, he entered the seminary in Pittsburgh and was assigned to study in Rome first at the Gregorian University and then at the John Paul II Institute. He was ordained a priest in June of 2008, and is currently serving as a pastor for 3 parishes in Pittsburgh. Fr. Freedy is also the President of Dry Bones Ministries.

LISA COTTER.
Lisa Cotter is the founder of Made to Magnify, an apostolate with a mission that encourages people to become saints. She and her husband, Kevin, are the co-authors of Dating Detox: 40 Days of Perfecting Love in an Imperfect World, and co-hosts of the How-to Catholic podcast. In her free time, Lisa is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Theology at the Augustine Institute, and chasing around her 4 kids in Denver, CO.

NICHOLAS FRANK.
Nic Frank has been reaching youth + young adults all around the country for over a decade. He has worked in large and small parish communities, sharing the Gospel and walking with people as they enter into a personal relationship with Jesus. He lives in the Chicagoland area with his amazing wife, Carolyn, and four kids. In his downtime, you can find him arguing over the correct pronunciation of the word “gif.”

SR. JOSEPHINE GARRETT, CSFN
Sister Josephine is a native Texas born and raised in Houston, TX. She moved to Dallas in 1999 to begin studies at the University of Dallas, where she completed a BA in Politics with a Business Concentration. Sister subsequently entered the banking industry where she served for 10 years as a Vice President in the Home Loans division of Bank of America, in the roles of Operations Manager of a staff of 200, and later as a Project Manager. Sr. Josephine entered the Catholic Church in 2005, and later in November of 2011, began her formation to be a Religious Sister with the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth. She professed her first vows in October of 2015, and after vows served for 2 years in the retreat center ministry. Sister is now studying to be a Clinical Mental Health Counselor, serves in vocations ministry, and also serves as a speaker for youth and young adult retreats and conferences throughout the DFW area, and around the country.
