Steubenville South 2021 is held in Downtown Alexandria

Randolph Riverfront Center

Located right on the Red River in downtown Alexandria, the Randolph Riverfront Center is the city's primary convention event venue.

The Riverfront Center offers all of the amenities of large convention centers, combined with the convenience of being centrally located within the state of Louisiana. Mix in a generous helping of Southern hospitality and you've got the perfect resource to host your business or association's next annual meeting.

St. Francis Xavier Cathedral

Across from the Riverfront Center, St. Francis Xavier Cathedral is the historic home church for the Diocese of Alexandria.

The first Catholic chapel in Alexandria was built in 1817. It was the first church of any denomination in the city. St. Francis Xavier Church was built in 1834 on Front Street. It was located under the present levee between Bellier and Xavier Streets. Although churches of other denominations were built in the town in the ensuing years, they were all destroyed during the Civil War. St. Francis Xavier was the only church left standing in 1864 when Alexandria was burned by the Union Army.

Holiday Inn Downtown

The Holiday Inn Downtown Alexandria is five city blocks off of I-49 resting on the banks of the Red River, and is attached to the Randolph Riverfront Center.

It is centrally located between Shreveport and Baton Rouge, a little over 3 hours NW of New Orleans, and less than an hour south of historic Natchitoches along the Cane River.
