At Steubenville South, we’re gearing up for another exciting year, and our mission is stronger than ever. To make it all happen, we’re adding a Registration Manager to our dynamic team. This part-time position (10-15 hours per week) plays a critical role in helping us serve our community and bring people together through our events. Here’s what you need to know:
What’s the Role?
As the Registration Manager, you’ll be the organizational rockstar who ensures every registration detail is handled seamlessly. From coordinating with attendees and volunteers to managing logistics at events, you’ll be part of a mission-driven team that loves what they do (and maybe loves coffee just as much ☕).
Your Day-to-Day:
- Coordinate Registrations: Oversee the registration of attendees, volunteers, priests, and religious for events like the Steubenville South High School Conference and Beyond the Limits Jr. High Conference.
- Be the Go-To Contact: Assist group leaders, parents, chaperones, priests, and volunteers across email, social media, phone, and in person.
- Support the Team: Work closely with the Conference Coordinator by creating templates, streamlining processes, and ensuring our attendees have a smooth experience.
- Show Up Big on Event Days: Be present at all events, act as the on-site staff person, and handle logistics, including transporting and carrying materials (a little cardio never hurt anyone, right? 🏋️).
Who’s Our Ideal Candidate?
- You’re passionate about Jesus in the Eucharist and the mission of the Diocese of Alexandria and Steubenville Youth Conferences.
- You’re a people person with excellent communication skills—in person, online, or over the phone—and love lending a helping hand. 😊
- You’re self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented. Making things run smoothly is your love language.
- You thrive on a small team where every role is vital to the mission.
- You bring humility, integrity, and a willingness to learn and collaborate with others.
- Bonus: You’re familiar with tools like Google Sheets and MailChimp (and if not, you’re ready to learn!).
- You’re an actively practicing Catholic in full communion with the Church.
What You Need to Bring:
- A high school diploma (some experience in admin or event registration is a plus).
- The ability to juggle multiple tasks while staying cool under pressure.
- A willingness to lift and transport materials during events (think of it as a side hustle workout!).
- Residency in the Cenla area.
